Nothing is beter than a picnic.
After more than a decade of catering for weddings and the hospitality industry, owner and chef Maryna Crow has used her experience to create a different kind of feast.
Our main venue is a gorgeous wooden deck set over a natural stream with a cascade waterfall on either side. Though you would have to take a few steps down into this forested alcove, it is a unique and special experience. Enjoying food and friends in this private setting makes it the perfect venue for special occasions especially for nature lovers.
Secondly we have a wonderful picnic site, all set with table and chairs right next to the Rietspruit river. This might be more ideal for families with smaller kids that would like to explore all that comes with the surrounding area. Though you would have to take a 400m hike to get to this location, there is nothing boring about it, passing a small canyon and a decent waterfall in the process.
Should any event be spoilt by less ideal weather we will simply continue hosting you on our large verandah overlooking the canyon and Umgeni Valley.
