Eagle's Call Treehouse
Natures Peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into the trees.
Eagle’s Call Treehouse is an intimate retreat hidden among an indigenous forest, overlooking Skip's Falls where mist rises at dawn. Fall asleep to the hush of flowing water and wake to the haunting call of fish eagles. Nyala move quietly through the trees below, crossing the Rietspruit near Skip’s Falls. Secluded and serene, this treehouse is made for slow mornings, shared solitude, and time away from the world.

Layout
When creating Eagle’s Call, convenience was a top priority. Parking is just 20 easy steps from the cottage, making access simple and stress-free. Although the treehouse is nestled among the trees, it’s from the balcony that the setting truly reveals itself - overlooking Skip's Falls as it disappears into the canyon below, with the green hills of the Midlands completing the picture.
Just a stone’s throw away, you’ll find the Rietspruit River, where we’ve placed a table and chairs for guests who would like to enjoy their morning coffee, or a relaxed lunch right by the water. While the river may run strong and become dangerous after heavy rain, you are generally welcome to dip your feet in and take in the beauty of nature.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, and a Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine (please note there is no oven). The braai area is conveniently located just outside the kitchen door, and we provide one bag of wood per night for use in the braai or the indoor fireplace.
For your comfort, we supply a heater or fan depending on the season, and extra blankets can be found in the vintage suitcase stored under the bed.
Bookings are available throughout the year with a minimum two nights stay per booking.
